How our Standing Offer plan works

Electricity and gas bills are made up of daily supply and energy usage charges. In Victoria, for electricity customers on an eligible tariff, Standing Offer Home is our equivalent of the Victorian Default Offer and the rates are regulated by the Essential Services Commission. For New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia, Standing Offer Home is our equivalent of the Default Market Offer and the reference price is regulated by the Australian Energy Regulator.  

For gas and other tariff types, EnergyAustralia sets the pricing for Standing Offer Home. Our gas rates are reviewed annually and we’ll let you know before any changes happens. 

Any other fees and charges (incl. GreenPower) may vary. If you’re a solar customer, you’re eligible for the applicable solar feed in tariff rates. There are no exit fees with our Standing Offer Home plan.
