Standing Offer Business FAQs

It is our standard plan for your business energy, offering standard electricity and/or gas rates and has no included features or discounts. For more information, go to our product information page.

In Victoria, for eligible electricity customers on an eligible tariff, Standing Offer Business is our equivalent of the Victorian Default Offer and the rates are regulated by the Essential Services Commission. For New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia, Standing Offer Business is our equivalent of the Default Market Offer and the reference price is regulated by the Australian Energy Regulator.  

For gas and other tariff types, EnergyAustralia sets the pricing for Standing Offer Business.

Any changes to pricing by either us or the Essential Services Commission or Australian Energy Regulator will impact your energy rates on this plan. We’ll let you know before this happens.
