The Lamberts North Ash Repository is owned and operated by EnergyAustralia. Approved by the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure in 2012, ash placement activities commenced in 2013. In 2021, the project was modified to install a liner to intercept and capture water moving through the ash repository, strengthening the environmental controls already in place.
