Giving our people opportunities to give back

We’re committed to making a difference in the communities where we live and work.

That's why our people can take 16 hours of paid leave each year to volunteer.  And best of all, they can do it their way.  

Whether it’s helping out at their kid’s school, giving blood, or assisting their favourite charity, we allow our people to follow their passion and choose where they give their time.    

Volunteering is part of our award-winning Heart of EA program.

Big hearted volunteering with The People’s Kitchen

EnergyAustralia’s Communications and Community Relations team spent a day at The People’s Kitchen in Morwell, Victoria.  They learnt about the charity’s important role providing healthy meals to those in need in the Latrobe Valley and played their part by preparing 146 meals.
