Regardless of which AFL team you support, football fans can now cheer every goal kicked at the MCG for the rest of the 2017 season as EnergyAustralia pledges to donate $50 to VincentCare for every goal scored.
EnergyAustralia’s Every Goal, Every Game initiative, will help VincentCare provide support to people experiencing homelessness and disadvantage, with a particular focus on assisting women and their children escaping family violence.
VincentCare CEO John Blewonski has welcomed the commitment.
“Every Goal, Every Game is a fantastic initiative; with EnergyAustralia’s support, VincentCare can help Victorians fleeing some of the most unimaginable situations,” said Mr Blewonski.
“This money will help give disadvantaged families a new start by relocating them into safe and secure housing, fitted with furniture and whitegoods. It will also ensure there’s food on the table and that children can get back to school by providing uniforms and books.
“EnergyAustralia’s donation will go a long way to helping rebuild many Victorian families’ lives,” said Mr Blewonski.

“Whether they’re sufferers of family violence or just someone going through a particularly tough time, Victorians tend to look after their own and want people to feel safe and supported in their communities,” said Mr Ackland.
