Balance Plan is a flexible plan for your home energy needs that includes variable energy rates. You may receive a guaranteed discount off your energy charges, every time you pay. With no lock in contracts or an exit fee, you’re free to leave the plan if it’s not suitable for your home.
If applicable, the guaranteed discount applies to your energy usage, daily supply charges, and demand charges. Other fees and charges are excluded from the guaranteed discount.
The benefit period is 12 months, so your discount will apply for the full benefit term. During this time, your energy usage, daily supply charges and demand charge (if applicable) are variable. Other fees and charges may also vary during this time (e.g. GreenPower or solar).
Rates for this plan are variable, which means that they may change whenever we change our rates. This usually occurs once a year, either in January or July. Please keep this in mind before you apply for a variable rate plan. You will be notified via your preferred contact method before your rates change.
Yes, GreenPower is available with the Balance Plan at an additional cost.
Yes, you can add solar to your Balance Plan.
