We continue to provide good supply to the National Electricity Market during the period of hot weather in the southern states.
- At Yallourn, Unit 3 and 4 are online and running. Unit 1 and 2 are offline for repairs.
- At Mt Piper, both units are running.
- EnergyAustralia’s gas assets at Newport, Jeeralang and Hallet ran yesterday evening to support high demand. Tallawarra A, Newport, Jeeralang and Hallett are not currently running and are available for market requirements during today’s hot weather.
- Tallawarra B, EnergyAustralia’s new gas-peaking power station, is continuing pre-commissioning works.
