Leading energy retailer, EnergyAustralia, has this week launched a campaign to persuade customers to enrol for eBilling as an alternative to receiving paper bills, which beginning 6 April, will accompany a $1.69 fee to cover the increased costs of production and postage. Exemptions apply for customers who fall within a vulnerability category – this includes concession-card holders as well as those on the EnergyAustralia EnergyAssist program.
Customer service & energy portfolio strengthened in tough 2019
EnergyAustralia, one of the country’s leading energy retailers, today announced it contributed operating earnings of A$295 million to owner CLP Group in the 12 months ended 31 December 2019, down from A$574 million a year ago.
