EnergyAustralia today announced the rebranding of its residential and SME solar and battery business, eko energy.

Senex and EnergyAustralia today announced they have signed a conditional agreement for the supply of 24 petajoules (PJ) of natural gas from January 2025 from Senex’s proposed Atlas expansion in Queensland’s Surat Basin.

EnergyAustralia today advised that electricity and gas prices for residential and small business customers on the Default Market Offer (DMO), Victorian Default Offer (VDO) and Variable Market Contracts will increase following sustained increases in the cost of wholesale electricity.  

EnergyAustralia, owner of the Mt Piper Power Station, confirmed it is seeking approval for an extension of geological exploration work at the site of its proposed Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro Project to support the technical and environmental feasibility assessment of the project. 
 

EnergyAustralia has commissioned a new Pulverized Fuel Mill for Unit 1 at its Yallourn Power Station following two years of assessment and engineering works following the catastrophic failure of the mill in March 2021.
