I need some help to set up My Account

It only takes a few minutes to register for My Account

To get started, ensure you have your account number (which you can find on your latest bill) and one of the following forms of ID ready:

  • Driver license number
  • Passport number
  • Medicare card number

When you’re ready, just follow these simple steps:

  1. Visit https://www.energyaustralia.com.au/myaccount-login or download our app
  2. Click Register for My Account
  3. Enter your account number and postcode
  4. Verify your identity
  5. Agree to our terms and conditions
  6. Click the Register button

How do I update my profile email address?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. From the Profile menu, select Login settings
  3. Edit your details, and submit the changes

How do I update my contact details?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Select Contact Details from the Profile menu
  3. Make the changes required and press Change
  4. Your changes will take 5-10 days to be updated

How do I view my bill?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Click Bill & payment history
  3. This will take you to a list of all bills available for viewing for your account/s with us
  4. Now select Download bill (PDF) next to the bill you’d like to see
  5. Your bill will open in a new window as a PDF

How do I pay my bill?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Click on Make payment next to the relevant account
  3. This will take you to Make payment page where you can enter your credit or debit card details and pay your bill, or access the BPAY information

You can also click on the Make Payment button in the bill notification message.  

How can I update my billing delivery preference?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Click on Profile and choose Mail Preferences
  3. Select an account to manage how you receive bills and other correspondence
  4. Select Email or Post from the Bill Delivery Method section
  5. A confirmation message will appear above your selection

How do I apply for a payment extension?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Select Request Payment Extension from the bill notification in My Account, or Account details page in our app
  3. Enter the details requested
  4. Choose a 1 week or 2 week extension period
  5. Press the Confirm button

How do I update my concession details?

  1. Sign in to My Account
  2. Select Add under Concessions heading from the Overview menu, Manage account section
  3. Enter the details required
  4. Press the Send button
