We’re currently working on a number of projects to ensure we manage our energy generation portfolio and continue to deliver reliable, affordable and fair access to clean energy for all customers.
Tallawara B project
Located on the shores of Lake Illawarra (NSW) at EnergyAustralia’s existing Tallawarra power station, the Tallawarra B project will deliver Australia’s first net zero emissions hydrogen and gas capable power plant, with direct carbon emissions from the project offset over its operational life.
Lake Lyell Pumped Hydro
The Lake Lyell pumped hydro energy storage project aims to help with the transition to clean energy. This project could play an important role as part of the future energy mix in New South Wales and support Lithgow’s future in becoming a renewable energy hub.
Wooreen Energy Storage System
The Wooreen Energy Storage System project will provide an economic boost for the Gippsland region and help transition to renewable energy. It's early days, but we believe a new utility-scale battery facility will serve an important role in Australia's future modern energy system.
Marulan Power Station
A gas-fired power station at Marulan near Goulburn in New South Wales is one option we’re currently investigating to potentially fill capacity gaps in the national electricity market only a few years from now.
